Rapier & Heavy Practice (Winter)

Practice is currently at our Summer location, not here!

Due to renovation at the CSU Glenn Morris Fieldhouse, practice will remain at the Dwayne Webster Park (our summer location) as weather permits. Fighter practice will be held every Sunday at the park from October 2023 through January 14, 2024, except for the following dates:

• Nov 26: CANCELLED for Thanksgiving weekend

• Dec 24: CANCELLED for Holiday weekend

• Dec 31: CANCELLED for Holiday weekend

As of January 21, 2024, fighter practice will be held every Sunday at the Glenn Morris Fieldhouse at CSU, except for the following dates:

• Mar 10: To be held at Dwayne Webster Veterans park, weather permitting

• Mar 17: To be held at Dwayne Webster Veterans park, weather permitting

• Mar 31: CANCELLED for Holiday weekend

• Apr 7: Practice moving outdoors to Summer location at Dwayne Webster Veterans park

Although the SCA complies with all applicable laws to try to ensure the health and safety of our event participants, we cannot eliminate the risk of exposure to infectious diseases during in-person events. By participating in the in-person events of the SCA, you acknowledge and accept the potential risks. You agree to take any additional steps to protect your own health and safety and those under your control as you believe to be necessary.

Details

​Join us for our weekly practice at the CSU Field House 2-5PM every Sunday for rapier (fencing) and heavy (armored) fighting. We also welcome any and all Arts & Sciences activities, and general SCA socializing!

CSU Glenn Morris Field House (commonly known as the South College Gym) at 901 S College Ave, Fort Collins CO.

From I-25: Take the Mulberry exit. Turn left on College, Turn right on Laurel. Turn left on S Mason St Turn left into the parking lot at the bottom of the dip in the road.
